1. Treat Yourself at Optimist Hall
Optimist Hall, located near Uptown and NoDa, is a 147,000 sqft former mill turned food hall featuring over 20 vendors of all different cuisines and backgrounds. With plenty to choose from, lots of seating, occasional events, and the inviting atmosphere, Optimist Hall is at the top of our list for Winter activity must-dos. 2. Catch a Charlotte Checkers Game
If sports are your thing, you’ll certainly want to check out a Charlotte Checkers home game! Played at the Bojangles Stadium, this hockey team is a great option for fun for the whole family. While it may not be the warmest winter activity, it will be sure to be a blast. You can purchase tickets online for as low as $22, and see their game schedule here.
3. Ice Skating at the Whitewater Center
If you feel like you’ve been cooped up inside for too long, then we suggest ice skating at the U.S. National Whitewater Centers outdoor skating rink. This 24,000 sq. ft. ice rink features four skate zones for visitors of all skill levels, as well as plenty of snack options to help warm you up or cool you down depending on how much fun you have!
