Cooking Up a New Home
Dudli Davis helped Miranda C. who was relocating to further her career as a chef and restaurant manager. Originally Miranda was told by a previous lender that she would be unable to qualify for a home, however after speaking with her realtor she decided to speak to Dudli and see if she could see anything the previous lender did not. As it turned out, while Miranda didn’t have a whole lot in terms of assets, she was highly sought after in her role as restaurant manager. Miranda’s new employer offered her a very generous relocation bonus which covered the majority of her closing and moving expenses. Miranda was extremely nervous but enthusiastic every step of the way and Dudli had was a lot of fun helping make this dream happen! Building Credit and a Home
Dudli Davis also helped Mark D. who came to us with a winning heart, but a challenged credit score. Mark was willing to accept help from CrediTool – Fairway’s in-house credit improvement team – and within a matter of months (ahead of schedule, no less), he was pre-approved and shopping for his family’s dream home. Mark and his family decided on new construction and was offered a pretty hefty seller’s concession if he chose to use the builder’s preferred lender. Mark told them that Dudli had steered him right so far and that he wanted to stay the course with Dudli, and his agent Jill was able to negotiate a pretty nice sellers concession anyway. The journey came with a few hiccups, but was overall a big win!
