Looking for the perfect fall recipe to make this holiday season, but not sure where to start? What we’re about to show you will not only get you in the mood for the holidays, but it will taste pretty darn good, too. So, sit back and let us share the ingredients for yummy pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls.
How to make them
If you’ve lived long enough, you’ve probably enjoyed some cinnamon rolls at some point. Similarly, you’ve probably chowed down on some pumpkin. But pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls take delicious fall treats to a whole other level. For the dough, grab some whole milk, vegetable oil, sugar, active dry yeast, flour, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, salt, and a few other ingredients you can find right here, courtesy of The Pioneer Woman. For the filling, you’ll need salted butter, two types of sugar, cinnamon, pecans, nutmeg and ginger. The frosting requires cream cheese, powdered sugar, maple extract and a few other ingredients. For a full list of ingredients as well as their quantities and step-by-step directions for this wonderful fall recipe, again check the Pioneer Woman website.
What to expect
If all goes according to plan, your total baking time will be 2.5 hours, with all but 30 minutes of that spent on meal prep. The recipe should yield 16 servings, but it’s possible there could be a few more or less, of course. When you’re done, you’ll have an oh-so-appetizing snack that’s likely to please anyone who partakes of it. Pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls are ideal for serving at Thanksgiving or in the days leading up to or just after the popular fall holiday. But, in reality, this fall recipe will taste just as good regardless of the date on the calendar or season of the year. Below is a short video on how to make pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls, if you’re interested. Keep in mind that this is the same recipe described above!
