With Expertise, it all starts by scouring the internet for reviews from well-known resources. The next piece is an evaluation of each provider based on the quality and quantity of their reviews. Expertise also considers each company’s presence on multiple review sites and their average minimum rating. For this project, Expertise rated Charlotte mortgage companies on more than 25 variables across five categories. The website then analyzed the results to give its audience a list of the top lenders in the area.
The five categories upon which Expertise judged mortgage companies were availability, qualifications, reputation, experience and professionalism. In the end, Expertise reviewed a total of 195 mortgage companies and awarded only 29 the distinction of being among the “Best Mortgage Brokers in Charlotte.” The Shapiro Team earned a “Reputation” grade of “A” and a “Professionalism” grade of “A+.” Fairway of the Carolinas received an “A+” for reputation but did not receive a professionalism grade.
